Athletes to Watch

Any competitor could win first place in this event, but three contenders to watch are listed below:

Daniela Aparecida

Daniela Aparecida earned her pro card at the 2022 Arnold Amateur South America contest but has waited until now to step on a pro stage. The mystery of how she will look after two years may work out in her favor at this show.

Nana Silva

Nana Silva, also known as Naiana Nana, is a Masters competitor but has fared well in Open shows. Most recently, she placed second to former Women’s Physique Olympia champion Natalia Abraham Coelho at the 2024 Atlantic Coast Pro on Nov. 17, 2024, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This may be her best opportunity to secure a first pro win and Olympia qualification. Coelho will also be in attendance at this show but as a special guest. She is not expected to compete.

Carmen Tocheniuk

Carmen Tocheniuk may have the most experience out of anyone in this lineup. She has been competing in the pro ranks since 2016. Her most recent show was the 2023 Atlantic Coast Pro, where she placed 10th. With this being her only onstage appearance for 2024, she could be a dark horse to compete for the win.
